The folder and its contents have now been shared with the service!

The next step is to head over to the service itself, log in with the same account, select New Study and select the input method with file sharing.

2. Creating a forecast with file sharing

When selecting the input method, select the option with files shared with the service, as shown in the image below:

2.1 JSON input method

The forecast creation form now contains dropdowns instead of the file upload input buttons, in the case of JSON input method 2 files are required.

form_json

Since each input requires exactly 1 file, a simple dropdown appear. It will show all the JSON files, ordered by folder, that were shared with the service by the user that is currently logged in.

After selecting the files, a simple preview is available as shown in the image below:

2.2 GRIB and standard WRF files input method

The forecast creation form now contains dropdowns instead of the file upload input buttons, in the case of the GRIB and standard WRF files input method multiple files are required.

form_grib

The first file input allowed for multiple grib files to be provided to the service. Similarly when sharing these files with the service through NEANIAS file hosting service, this dropdown allows the selection of multiple files. These files are filtered by their extension (GRIB files) and are ordered by the folders that were shared with the service, by the user currently logged in.

The next dropdowns are for single file inputs, and are also filtered by their extension to prevent unnecessary files from showing up. The next image shows an example after selecting all the files:
